Dear Sakshi, Defense and Exservicemen Quota is applicable only at 85% State Counselling and not at All India c ounselling for 15%. Having said that, every State has its own specific quota for wards of Army/Ex servicemen personnel. It is mostly 1-3%. At 250-300, it might be a tad difficult but if you can help us with the State that you hold the domicile of we can help you with the accurate chances.
