see after completing diploma in civil engineering you need to appear in NATA exam, now many colleges in india has lateral entry exam, but since architecture is a 5 years course, many colleges have no lateral entry options, you need to start from the first year of b.arch course. also you may go for AMIE (Associate Member of Institution of Engineers ) ARCH course .
