First of all I would like to congratulate for your rank. You scored a very good rank in JEE mains, enough to get seat in top 5 NIT's with your category. For getting admission in JU you need to write WBJEE, as they are not considering JEE score. But they may consider your rank and category to give admission. What I suggest is, if you want to relocate then its better to opt for NIT's, where you can get a better exposure of knowledge. NIT's will provide hostel facilities and canteen for food. If you want to stay near to West Bengal then go for NIT Durgapur. It is a very beautiful campus with quality education.

Why don't you join NIT given your category and rank you can easily get CS in any nit

JU only accepts score/rank of WBJEE to provide admissions in B.tech . As they don't consider jee mains rank .
