For admissions at medical and dental colleges in Karnataka, there are two main types of quota for NEET candidates, 15% All India Quota and 85% state quota. In addition, there is also a private/management/NRI quota for students at private colleges for MBBS and BDS.

As far as reservation is concerned, yes, there is reservation for 3B category students. They are divided into 3BG (3B students from urban areas), 3BK (students who studied at Kannada medium schools) and 3BR (students from rural areas).
