First things first, now even to study MBBS abroad, Candidates need to qualify in NEET. So if you havent cleared NEET in 2019, you may have to reappear for NEET in 2020. Now lets say you qualify for NEET in 2020, MBBS abroad takes close to 6 years depending upon the country you choose. As of now, the Health Ministry has decided on scrapping of FMGE in favour of NEXT exam as a part of NMC Bill. But this will take another 3 years. By then you will complete your MBBS and things might take a shape. You can always come back and practise in India. Either FMGE or NEXT, you can come back and practise in India.

Yes of course you can practice in India after completing mbbs in Abroad,  you just need to clear the screening test by mci. This MCI Examination is compulsory for those Indian students who have pursued MBBS from abroad and want to practice in India .Medical council of India(MCI) which is also known as foreign Medical graduates Examination (FMGE) is a licensure examination conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) in India
