PGD in Anaesthesia is a 2 year post-graduate diploma program, the minimum eligibility is Graduation from a recognized college or its equivalent exam. Admission to PGD in Anaesthesia is depending upon the premise of candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance exam, and ensuing round of counselling

The requirement for pursuing this program is successful completion of an MBBS from a reputed college and educational institution approved from the Medical Council of India (MCI). Almost each and every recognized medical college of India admits candidates in this branch according to marks obtained in the centralized entrance exams that take place at both the national level and state level.

Following are a few entrance tests that are conducted by some of the Post Graduation Diploma in Anaesthesia colleges in India:

  • NEET Entrance Exam
  • AIIMS (All India Institutes of Medical Sciences)
  • PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research)

Hope you find it helpful.

Good luck!
