If you want to go in coaching then I suggest you should go with some core branch as they have a lot of theoretical and computational work in the subjects. For example in mechanical engineering you will find more details about the fluid mechanics, etc. In Electrical engineering you will find more details about the Electrostatics that you have learned in +2.

Congratulations for clearing JEE Advanced . On the basis of your question and rank you should try to get old iit's (like Madras , Kharagpur etc.) for lower branches like chemical engineering , production engineering etc. As there is no need to be branch specific in your case you should try to get best college possible you can get .
