Yes of course you can get seat in NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Calicut and some other NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but the only condition is that if you deserves Home State quota then only you can get into those NITs because with All India quota you cannot get any of the NIT with such category and rank. Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
