The things one should keep in mind while choosing the college and branch depends on various factors like placements , campus life , interest in that particular branch etc . Let me compare the above two for you . When we talk about IIIT , fees is definitely above than that of NIT . Otherwise both the NIT and IIIT are the prime preference of all the students . Now coming to branch . CSE is considered as the top branch when it comes to engineering , it has a great market in the private sector , while ECE has jobs in both private as well as government sectors . In most of the campus placements , the company allows both cse and ece students to appear for the interview .
