First of all, you have got a preparatory rank in the sc category which by no chance gives an avenue to get a seat in the iits this year. The category candidates who do not pass the exams are given a preparatory rank in order to fill the vacant seats of their respective categories. You would be trained and taught these preparatory courses for an year and if you perform decently in their exams next exams you can directly get admission into the iits.
So work hard in these courses for an year if you really want to get into these iits.
