Hy dear aspirant,

You must've really worked hard to get a good medical college for admission into mbbs/bds.

But unfortunately you have not been able to get the required marks to get a seat for bds in government college this year.

Thr no of students has increased so much that thr students seat ratio is so less that hardly 1% students click it.

This year thr minimum cut off for mbbs is500 + so for bds, the cut is definitely 450+ as seats in bds are more less than mbbs so competition in that section is high too.

As you have got 298 marks so you won't be able to get any government medical college under obc category.

You can try for bams/ bums or such courses though chances are really less in that even.

You can check out here for detailed cut off in government college-

You can apply for top private recognized colleges for bds though the fees is higher in private but if really want to do bds and afford then you can try out for-

https://medicine.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-bds-colleges-in-india

This site include both government and top private college and you can apply according to your preference.

If not, better try for next year and get in mbbs with more hardwork in a good govt college. You can avail this offer for neet student for better study purpose given by career 360-

  • you can even try for bsc Agriculture, horticulture , fisheries, biotechnology, food technology etc in govt college by giving icar ug exam as therr are many scopr for a biology student in those field even.

Decide as per your interest and situation.
