You have decent chances in IIT's. Also you can check which colleges you can get into through GATE college predictor availble online.

No....very less chance coz top gate ranker take admission in NITs and IITs..but when the PSU interview held which always after they Mtech admission ,they vacant those seats and went for jobs..and that seat is wasted...

But there is one trick which gives 50-50 chance in getting top nits with best branch..Can't tell you on open forum..
But it's work with lots of my friend...
