449 out of 470 is extremely a good score and your 12th marks are nothing to do with Jee Main rank. Jee Rank of a student solely depends on his/her marks in the examination. Even there is no percentage barrier to be eligible for Jee Main. However, for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs boards marks are taken into consideration. For these institutes, you should have secured 75% ( 10% relaxation for reserved and pwd candidates) in aggregate or must be in top 20 percentile of your board, and you match this criteria. So nothing to worry about. But your rank will be calculated without considering your 12th score. Earlier, 12th marks were given weightage. But this system has been scrapped since 2017-18.
