i got 492 score in gate 2020 from EE branch do i still have chance to get any iit, nit or psus?

Hello,

You have not mentioned your category. This answer is written assuming that you belong to general category. The cut off will be very high general category and with your GATE score it is difficult to get seat in IITs or NITs or get recruited in PSUs. If there are vacant seats in special rounds then you might get seat in NITs but there are very low chances of getting seat. For PSUs you need to score minimum 700 or above GATE score to have good chances. In 2019 the cut off for NTPC recruitment for Electrical for general category was 677 and for NPCIL it was 841 for ONGC it was 841. This is what the cut off for few PSUs to give you some idea about cut off.
