Hey. Congratulations for this rank. With this rank you would not be able to  get Civil in the initial rounds of counselling but wait till the last round because last year Round 7 counselling closing rank was around 5800. Hence keep trying till the last round. Best of Luck.

Congrats, your rank is good enough to get you admission in good IITs. The closing rank last year of Civil Engineering was 5890. Now, considering that there will be 10% extra reservation this year. Your chances of making it seems quite less. Though you can get Bio-Technology & Chemical Science and Technology at IIT Guwahati. I would suggest you to keep your other options ready.
