Candidates seeking admission under ECA quota first need to register themselves on the official website of Delhi University. It may be noted that at the time of online registration for DU admission 2017, candidates need to upload their ECA certificate which will work as an evidence of a candidate’s participation in a particular ECA activity. It may also be noted that the certificate should not be more than three years old.

DU admissions 2018 for ECA category candidates will be done on the basis of merit which will be determined through marks earned by a candidate under following parameters:

• Certificates (25% weightage)

• Trials (75% weightage)

Trials will be conducted at two levels:

• Preliminary trials

• Final trials

The ECA admission committee of Delhi University will conduct trials for a specific ECA activity. The dates for preliminary and final trials will be notified on the official website of colleges and Delhi University. Note that candidates will be allowed to appear for preliminary trials only once. Shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for the final trials.articipation in a particular ECA activity. It may also be noted that the certificate should not be more than three years old.
