Usually PSU call students less than 500 rank directly for the interview and the score is more than 800.You might not get a direct call from those PSUs which are recruiting through GATE score.But there are PSUs which are taking their own exam like BARC,ISRO,DRDO,BSNL and many more .You should apply in them.

Almost all of the PSUs have closed their application but still some PSUs have released their recruitment notification ,you can apply to them .You may get chance in these PSUs like CEL,RITES,WSEDCL etc.
