Even if you belong to OBC category, the JEE CRL rank of 70k is too high to fetch you seat in good NITs or IIITs. Though you would be able to get seat in new IIITs and some good GFTIs but there are very few chances that you would get the most preferred branches there.

You can try for :

• Delhi Technological University
• Netaji Subhash University of Technology
• IIIT Kalyani
• IIIT Delhi

And some other good colleges.

With this rank, yes you are definitely eligible to get an NIT or IIT. So according to me, you should definitely apply for the admission in any NIT or IIT. For more details you can go through this link-

I am really sorry but you stand very less chance. However you can apply for colleges like BIT mesra, NIT pondicherry, NIT andhra pradesh, NIT agartala and much more. Fill the preferences as you want it to be because the counseling process can be really unpredictable at times.
