With a rank of around 75,000 in the EWS category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the NIT's or IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for NIT's were around 40,000 even in the general category. Since EWS quota is 10% of it, there are no possibilities for NIT's. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. It depends.

As you have mentioned your rank as 75000 then i guess it is your EWS rank. If it is so then you may have some chances for getting admission in some of the NITs and maybe in IIITs. The branch could be an issue for you and you may not be getting admission to the top NITs. 

But if your CRL rank is 75000 then fear not.You are definitely getting admission in one of the NITs.
