Since your rank is not that much to be on the safe zone,
With this rank, it is difficult to get admission in any of the nits or iiits, because you got a chance to appear in the jee advanced , do appear for it with full preparation.

It will give you a better scope.
After that decide where to take admission. I will suggest you to appear for spot round also.
