The admission to IIITs, NITs and GFTIs occur through JoSAA counselling. You have to register for this. And for counselling process a separate rank list is prepared involving only those who applied for JoSAA. Then opening and closing ranks will be released for counselling. There will category wise rank list. With 84 percentile in JEE Mains you have chances to get into NITs and IIITs. In NITs you can get via Home State (HS) quota also.
