Your JEE Main score seems very impressive but might not be at par as far as NIT Trichy is considered though it also depends on some other factors like your domicile and your branch preferences.
At 96 percentile you stand a very good chance of getting admitted to NIT Trichy considering the fact that you belong to SC category but relying just on your January score won't be a good idea as this NTA based JEE ranks are quite uncertain.
I would therefore suggest you to prepare well for the JEE Main that will be held in coming months rather than just relying on your previous score.
You also have ample time in your hand to study for the exams and you might score more and improve your percentile.

Never settle for anything less than your best.
