Hey lakh,

According to your query,

Much more things depends on you.  If you comsider the scope of BSC thn it is good option if you want to prepare for competitive exams like NDA,  Indian Army, UPSET etc.  But if you see course wise then also it's a good choice.  But if you are rigid to take admission in engineering then prefer to take a drop. Don't think that your one year would be wasted rather think that you are getting your time to do something for your career so prefer it if you are prepared.

Hope you find it useful.

Best of luck for your future.

Thank you.

Hello Lakkha,
You should choose a fresh full drop .
Since it's better to put your legs in a single boat than putting your both legs in two different boats.
It will give you a better chance to get into iits with b.tech degree and a good branch.
So,
Decide wisely,
And good luck...!!!

Hello Lakkha!

It totally depends upon you. If you feel that taking drop won't stress you out and rather it would help you to score better and be in a better place then please go for it. However, if you are happy with what you got and you feel that taking drop would just make things worse then don't take it.

Taking a full drop is absolutely better I feel.

There were many cases in where  students taking a partial drop ended up unsuccessful

U can fully dedicate to JEE preparation.

It will be very difficult for you to do both that things at the Same time.

You should definitely not pursue BSC course .

The scope of it is low .

Also partial drop is not good.
