Hello Aspirant,

See percentage of class 12th is merely an eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE-Main/JEE-Advance and without appearing in JEE-Main/JEE-Advance you are not eligible for admission in B.Tech. courses in NITs/IITs/IIITs. You must have passed your class 12th from recognized central/state board and should have secured minimum 75% marks with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects.

Note that JEE-Main is compulsory to qualify to become eligible for JEE-Advance and then admission to B.Tech. courses offered by IITs.

For complete details about JEE-Advance kindly check out the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Dear student,
The compulsory criteria of scoring 75% in boards has been removed this year due to the corona virus pandemic. So you need not worry about this matter. You just focus on cracking jee advanced and prepare well for it. Hope you do well. And if you wish to improve your score then you can apply for improvement.

Hello,
To get seat in IITs/NITs/IIITs a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognised board. Candidates belonging to general category must have scored minimum 75% marks and candidates belonging to SC/ST category must score minimum 65% marks. This year there was a relaxation for minimum percentage in qualifying exam due to pandemic. There isn't any news yet if this is applicable for next year as well. So you will not be eligible to get admission in IIT if minimum percentage requirement is considered in the next year.
