• You may have a chance at some of the newer or less competitive NITs for branches that are not as highly sought-after as CSE. Check for branches like Civil Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
• Some of the newer IIITs may offer seats for branches like Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Information Technology (IT).
• Many state government colleges reserve seats for candidates with JEE Main scores. Research the specific cut-offs for SC candidates in your home state or other states where you may be eligible for admission.
