Hello Aspirant!

  • This year the admission cut-offs for medical colleges have taken a hike. They have gone very high.
  • Last year the admission cut off for government medical college in Telangana were between 493 to 570 for UR candidates under the 85 percent state quota. And the admission cut-offs for private medical colleges were between 410 and 527.
  • So this year, the cut-offs are higher than those of last year.
  • This narrows your chanve to get admission into a govt. college.
  • However, you should still go up to the third round of counselling as in this round, usually the seats given up by other candidates, are made available for allotment.
  • You can also try out for the private colleges.
