Hello Aspirant!

This year the admission cut-offs for medical colleges have taken a hike. They have gone very high.
Last year the admission cut off for government medical college in Telangana were between 493 to 570 for UR candidates under the 85 percent state quota. And the admission cut-offs for private medical colleges were between 410 and 527.
So this year, the cut-offs are higher than those of last year.
This narrows your chanve to get admission into a govt. college.
However, you should still go up to the third round of counselling as in this round, usually the seats given up by other candidates, are made available for allotment.
You can also try out for the private colleges.
