Hello

If you want to get into law you need to do llb.

One has the option to pursue llb in two ways:-

  • 5 year llb /integrated llb like BA llb, Bcom llb etc :- One becomes eligible for 5 year integrated LLB like BA LLB etc with qualification of 10 + 2

  • 3 year llb :- for 3 year llb , you need to be  a graduate.

With your 12th  qualification you can go for 5 year integrated llb.

It doesn't matter at all even if you are 35 years old.

This is because,

There's no age limit for 5 year llb or even for 3 year llb( for 3 year llb graduation is required)

For your reference,

CLAT  eligibility criteria  is given below which is the most widely accepted entrance examination for 5 year llb :-

-----------) You must be either appearing for your 12th board examination or should have passed it

-----------) You must  pass your 12th board exam with at least 45% marks while SC and ST category students need only 40% marks.

-----------) There is no age limit for CLAT

For more and detailed information you can visit our page the link for the same is given below

Other than clat,

>>>>> GNLU Gandhinagar - Gujarat National Law University

>>>>> RGNUL Patiala - Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law

>>>>> NUJS Kolkata - The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences

>>>>> NLU Jodhpur - National Law University

>>>>>>>> Admission process

There's some colleges where you can get admission directly on the basis of 12th marks. But for good colleges including NLUs etc provide admission through entrance exams only.

To get admission in  5 year llb:-

-----------)  You need to appear in entrance exam

-----------) Qualify the entrance exam

-----------)    In  counselling, you will be alloted college on the basis of rank in the entrance exam

-----------)   Finally you need to get your documents verified like 12th certificate etc and then you can get admission in the alloted college.
