It depends on you in which counselling you want to apply, josaa is the major counselling platform with respect to jee main and advanced while csab counselling is done on the basis of leftover seat after josaa counselling. You should note that applying for josaa or csab does not depend on rank if you have a valid rank then you can apply in either or both of them also note that iits are allotted through josaa counselling only.
