Well first of all congratulations on your achievement. Nice job. Now according to your percentile you may get Cse in top 10 NITs but you may have to wait till the 6th-7th round of the counselling. It also depend on your category if you come in reserved category then you may get it earlier.

See comparing VIT with any NIT, at vit you have to pay more fees as compared to Nits and if I tell about placement then there is no big difference both have good placements but according to me Your first priority should be any NIT. I wish you that you get the best college for you. All the best.

For a general candidate it is not possible to get into top 10 NIT is computer science engineering as computer science and engineering is the most sought after branch of engineering and therefore have the highest cutoff in the respective IIT. You can use the April attempt and try to to get a percentile above 99 to get into top 10 NIT is computer science engineering.

in comparison to top 10 NIT and Vellore Institute of Technology computer science engineering I would say that the and it is have an upper hand because of the alumina network they have is very diverse as compared to VIT and you will get a good exposure there. Moreover the number of students in NIT batch is lower than VIT that will also be a plus point.
