I have a question.. for neet there are UG and PG categories. If I finish my 12th and without joining any colleges and i prepare for neet and if I write the exam the next year i will come under which category...?

Hello, shanjanbalaji

If you are preparing for NEET Examination after 12th without taking admission for any degree courses then , it comes under UG category.

But if you are graduated from medical stream like MBBS, BAMS and if you want to do post-graduation then you will give NEET PG exam .

Under graduation- after 12th

Post graduation- after taking bachelor degree.

Hi reader,

UG denote under graduate while PG denotes post graduate.

After completion of your 12th, if you take a gap without joining any college for preparing for neet you will have to apply for the UG category for getting admission in the MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS courses.
