There will be several companies visiting your campus for placement recruitment and every company has its own eligibility criteria. And most of the companies shortlist candidates based on the percentage in the qualifying exam which is B.Tech in your case. So you need to maintain a decent percentage or CGPA throughout the course. Very few companies might also consider past academic qualification like class 10 and class 12. So do not worry and try to maintain minimum 75-80% each semester, improve your communication skills, aptitude and technical skills. And before applying for any placement check the eligibility as if differs.
