See the counselling procedure of any exam be it KCET or JOSAA etc don't work that way. If you had locked your preferences before to a particular list and were alloted a choice of higher preference there is nothing much you can do to get a lower preference. You just can't any how change your allotment unless you withdraw your seat and go for the spot counselling which is pretty much a gamble.
