Dear Chinmay, there is no chance of an admission in any Institution leaving aside DU if you dont appear for Board Exams. Board exams test your theoritcal knowledge and Practicals test your Practical knowledge. The combined score is taken into consideration to evaluate your academic performance. Attending Practicals or not attending doesnt make any difference until you attend the theoretical exams. With both the results combined together, you are considered either pass or fail. Sorry to disappoint you but there is not one advantage of you skipping the board exams. No college will give you admission just with your practicals results.
