Hello,

Yes, you may become eligible for a Hindi Translator post, but it depends on the specific recruitment rules. In many government exams such as Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), candidates usually need a Master’s degree in Hindi or English with the other language as a compulsory subject, along with a diploma or certificate in translation (Hindi–English) or relevant translation experience. Since you have a BA from Delhi University and are pursuing a PGDT (Post Graduate Diploma in Translation), this course can help you build the required translation qualification. However, you should carefully check the eligibility conditions of the exam you plan to apply for.
