I have completed my 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry, mathematics and Biology as 4th optional ,,can I am eligible for NEET exam,, plz clarify.

Hello Aspirant,

As per the latest NEET eligibility criteria if you have passed or appearing for 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board or even from NIOS and the class 12th percentage to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects which is :-

  • UR - 50%,
  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
  • PWD - 45%

So if you are able to fulfil the criteria mentioned above then you are eligible for NEET. Now as you have mentioned that Biology is your 4th optional subject in class 12th in PCB than also you are eligible for NEET but you have to secure at last 50% if you belongs to General/UnReserved category as per the above mentioned eligiblity criteria.
