Since BITS is a private autonomous institution but then also it doesn't have an scenario of lateral entry scheme. It will take student's only through it's entrance examination also called as BITSAT which will conduct every year. So better try to other private engineering colleges which has the lateral scheme scenario in various branches.

There is no provision for studnets from lateral entry into direct second year engineering for diploma students.

Admission is only on basis of Jee Main marks for Science streams studnets.
