College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is not great. There's a dearth of sports infrastructure. Libraries aren't adequately equipped. Classrooms are not spacious and aren't adequately ventilated. Improvement is expected in this regard.
Academics
There's a decent emphasis on academics. Quizes are conducted frequently and there is emphasis on conceptual understanding. Curriculum is quite obsolete though, would greatly appreciate an improvement in this regard
Placements
Placements are good with top companies includin walmart, google, adobe, nokia etc taking part in the process. There's atleast 75% placement in each batch with average package in excess of 4L. Top companies package can go upto 10-15L
Value-for-money
Good, since it is relatively inexpensive
Campus Life
Campus life is not great to be honest.
Anything Else
Good college in Bangalore.

College Infrastructure
If you’re looking for a nice and huge campus, this is a big no no. There is no ground for sports, no Wifi and washrooms are not hygienic. You will surely face problems with washrooms and if you are a sportsperson, this one will let you down.
Academics
There is no compromise with teaching. Staff is excellent and will surely help you out if you have any issues. They are highly qualified. All the professors are available in the department. Faculty is good.
Placements
Mass placements is a surety. Placements are excellent here for computer science. You have to maintain your grade point though. There is a threshold, if your grade point is above that, you will surely get a placement.
Value-for-money
For CET, value for money is good. It’s a bit more for COMED-K .
Campus Life
There is not much to do in campus. You have to find ways to engage yourself.

First off all college is good because we have the freedom over their. And learn lot more applications n ongoing inventions in present past n future. coming to the experience it was awesome that's all. Infracture is not too bad. The faculty is good. It's a small area no play ground but it's manageable. It is located at the centre of bangalore.

BIT is located in IT hub of India, Bangalore and therefore no such issues of placement. This college provides you a plethora of opportunities to prove your strengths. There are so many cultural and industrial events to organize and to be a part that you would improve your managerial skills. The infrastructure of BIT is good, a beautiful campus. All facilities are available. Classes and labs are well equipped, course curriculum is updated according to the norms specified and faculties are very helpful. Student life is awesome at BIT. There are enough opportunities to celebrate and enjoy. Students are helpful, innovative and cheerful. BIT shares a great bond with the alums too. BIT makes the best use of its location!!!!

BIT is a college where a student is not only concerned about studies but also in extracurricular activities like participation in dance, song, clubs etc. So it's a place for our talent and placement are at the same rating compared to Bangalore 1st rated college RV and infrastructure though is very small is good and every single faculty os very educated and has a minimum of 10yr experience n teach well.

Placements are nice but except that nothing is really appreciated like there is no real campus of this college and also the faculties are not good for any branches. And no extracurricular activities are promoted. The hostel life is also not good. As the campus is quiet small.

"My college,Bangalore Institute Of Technology is one of the best VTU college and is ranked 5th overall in Bangalore. The campus may not add up to much as compared to the newer colleges with larger campuses but what it lacks in a campus makes up for it in it providing quality education. The faculties of all the branches are very student friendly and are very approachable. The placements are excellent too ! With a varying range of companies and start ups recruiting the graduates of my college. Canteen food is decent. Not that great though ! Even with the lack of a campus the college football and cricket teams are among the very best in Bangalore having won a number of inter-college tournaments. There are a lot of interactive clubs too.Such as a rotract club,a TedX talk liscense which is used to hold the talks and other student interactive forums.Overall its an very college to graduate from if you're planning to do Engineering under VTU in fact its listed as the best VTU college, owing to the numerous VTU rankers graduating for here."

"Bangalore Institute of Technology, considered as the best engineering college under VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University), simply because all other better colleges are autonomous. Admissions are through Karnataka CET, Comed-K and VIP entry(Management Quota). College have people from all parts of the country and different classes of society. That is the main reason that making friends is always easy. Life here is pretty chilled out barring few departments like mechanical and civil. Attendance is never an issue at BIT. THe best part is the number of holidays we get here in BIT, cant be replicated in any other college. BIT Office staff are too rude and unfriendly specially to non kannada speakers but that gets compensated with the support from individual departments. Most of the teachers in BIT are highly qualified and professional who are the main backbone of BIT. The teaching is in English but scolding is generally in kannada. Now coming to infrastructure and facilities. College is constructed in a very confined space and worst part is that there is no more space to expand. The college lacks play ground and there is no place to hangout neither within the college nor around. The college has a canteen where the food is good but is equally costly. There is shortage of classrooms and benches here are also too old. Overall you will get a complete government college/office experience here. Boys hostel is very close but girls hostel is a bit far. There is a cooperative society for stationary and a sufficiently large seminar hall. The labs are sufficient enough. BIT has got decent placement and there isn't much variation in it over past few years. An average student will definitely be placed so placement has never been an issue in BIT. College celebrates an annual grand techno cultural fest - ""MANTHAN"" that only few colleges across the city have such an grand fest. College has lots of active clubs but participation from students isn't that good. Overall you are sure to get a good (not luxurious) student life. A must have experience."
