Dear Jeevan, the 41% in your 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is only to fulfil the eligibility criteria in NEET. Because you belong to OBC category, 40% in PCB is enough for you to appear in NEET. However, this doesn't qualify you to get admission in a Medical college. You should atleast score 40% of top NEET score to be qualified in NEET. Now, not every qualified candidate can get an admission in a Medical college. Every Medical college will have its own cut off for various categories. Tamilnadu is one of the States which has highest NEET cut offs given the reputation of the colleges and no.of candidates applying. Depending on the State you belong to, you can claim All India Quota and State Quota. For BC, the last year minimum cut off was 118-96. But this score will not get you a seat in any Medical College. Anything less than 450-475 cannot get you a Government seat.
