JEE Mains exam is an entrance examination conducted by NTA for admission to various IITs , NITs and other very good engineering colleges. It's marks decide where you should/ would get admission in BTech. It doesn't decide whether you should take Btech or BSc.

But I can help you with which branch you might take based on your subject interest.

For both BTech in Computer Science and BSc. in IT you must have a good knowledge as well as interest in programming ( coding).

See whenever we talk of BTech, emphasis is on application or creation of something new based on existing knowledge. For this you must be thorough with Mathematics and programming.

Whereas BSc. is more of understanding the science undeeneund the subject rather than application. This is a theoretical subject.

So now based on your ability and interest of study, decide which field you want to choose.
