I have got 539 marks in neet 2019 and sml is 2224 can I get govt mbbs college in maharashtr by open category

hey Vaishnavi,seeing this year's cutoff which went very high that even the students getting 500 were worried about their colleges.So with this score and through open category you wont get any top medical colleges in maharashtra but you will surely get lower ranked goverment colleges with these marks.

Hello Vaishnavi,

You have got very good chances of getting admission in government medical college under open category.

As the cutoff for open category was 400 marks(for Shri Vasant Rao Naik Medical College, Yavatmal).

You can expect to get admission in following colleges-

  • Dr Vaishampayan Memorial Medical College, Solapur
  • Govt. Medical College, Miraj
  • Govt. Medical College, Akola
  • Chandrapur govt. medical college
