First of all, I need to know if the rank you have mentioned above is the General Category rank or do you have any reseravtion? 

If you are an OC candidate it means you have just qualified and I feel with that rank you may not get into any NIT irrespective of the branch of engineering. 

If you are having any reseravtion, then you may get into a very low ranked NIT and you may also have to compromise to any branch of engineering that you get.

However, in either cases, you can always apply for admission in any private college or universities that acccept the clearance of JEE MAINS.

your rank is dam high you cannot get the NITs while on the other hand you can get in to private colleges accepting the JEE rank like SASTRA ,DU you can find the list of colleges in the below link
