The eligibility criteria to be eligible to get admission to BA (Hons) Sociology in DU is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Admission is based on marks scored in one language and three best academic/elective subjects as specified in List A and List B. A deduction of 2.5% per subject is applicable on aggregate in four subjects if any subject other than those from List A and List B in the combination of best three  is included. Out of three academic/elective subjects chosen above, one must be the concerned subject in which the admission is sought, failing which a deduction of 2.5% will be imposed on the aggregate. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria you are eligible to apply for admission. You need to mention the marks scored in best four subjects to know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat.

Yes, you can get the admission in Delhi University with this score as the minimum scores required are 45% for taking admission in one of the Delhi University and its affiliated colleges is to complete 10+2 board.

But the sad thing is that, the cutoffs scores are remain higher every year above 90%. This may be due to various reasons like high popularity of the course, low difficulty level of board examination etc.
