Hii Vipul.Your percentile is good.As per the previous year cutoffs you can get Medium ranked NITs such as NIT Nagpur, NIT Raipur, NIT Bhopal, NIT Rourkela, etc. You can also get some higher ranked NITs but you may have to compromise with the branch.
You can also get good IIITs such as IIIT Jabalpur, IIIT Nagpur, etc .

Hello aspirant

First thing, do not panic. You have done your best and it is okay. Stop blaming yourself or your fate. Remember you have done your best and you are the best.
Regarding your question, first point, why do you think that 95 percentile is not a good score? It is far better than 95 percent of people. So you have done a great job!!
Second, it is not that you can do best in Engineering in only IITs/NITs. There are many great other Government/private colleges which are prestigious. E.g. COEP, VJTI etc Govt. colleges. In fact colleges like BITS or IIIT Hyderabad are far better than some of the bottom NIT. So it is not that private colleges are not good. Also some private colleges affiliated to Pune University are really good.

Hope you understand,
Thank you

Hello,
If you are a general category student, then at this percentile score you have low chances of getting admission in top NITs or IIITs.However, you can take part in counselling till last round to get at least North East NITs like NIT SIKKIM,etc.
Good luck.

Hey Vipul,

If you get more than 96+ score then there are more chances to get top Nits.
.
Use this formula to predict the rank:

  • Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469/100.
  • Your expected rank is 43723 by using above formula

.
This rank may differ from the official cutoff and results which were released on the month of April by national testing agency NTA officially. You have to wait for the official results.
if you want to compare with previous years cutoff of nits .you can go through the below link:

Hope it helps! Comment Down if you have any other queries... Goodluck!
