You have a very good chance of getting admission into a decent BTech college in Maharashtra, especially if you’re open to private colleges or semi-government institutions.

Colleges like VIT Pune, PCCOE Pune, AISSMS, D Y Patil College of Engineering (Akurdi), and others often accept candidates in the 80–90 percentile range, depending on the branch. If you’re aiming for Computer Engineering, IT, or Electronics, the cutoffs might be tighter. But branches like Mechanical, Civil, or ENTC can be more accessible.Also, if you have a category benefit (OBC, SC, ST, EWS), your chances get even better. Make sure to participate in all the CAP counselling rounds and select your preferences wisely.
