In order to get a call from IIMs CAT score is not the only parameter involved in the selection procedure. After CAT exam every IIM prepares a merit list to call students for next round of interview based on your aggregate score which comprises of many parameters such as CAT marks, 10th, 12th and graduation percentage, work experience etc.

To get a call from IIM Shillong you should have around Overall 95 CAT Percentile with 75 sectional cutoff as General Category so you should meet the cutoff to get into there.

For admissions in IIM Shillong, the cut-off is 75 percentile. But, you must have scored the minimum required percentile in each of the sections for getting shortlisted. The minimum required percentile for each section for general category is as follows:

• VARC- 75
• DILR- 75
• QA- 75

These percentile are 50 in each section for backward categories.
Also, for a general category student, you must have 80% minimum score in 10th,12th and graduation.
For other categories,the minimum required percentage is 50-55% for 10,12, and graduation.

You will get shortlisted only is all the above mentioned criteria are satisfied. You will be notified by mail or SMS in the 2nd week of January 2020 if you get shortlisted.
