The Indian Institute of Management, Shillong offers quality management education and research through post-graduate, executive, fellowship, faculty development, management development, and doctoral programmes. IIM Shillong Admission in Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM)
Leading to a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA), this is a two year, residential, and full-time programme. The course allows students to develop creative thinking abilities and analytical approach towards solving management and business problems. Students prepare for a dynamic global environment through this programme.
IIM Shillong PGP Eligibility Criteria
Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) Programme
Applicants should have at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the bachelor’s degree from any UGC deemed university. The requirement for candidates under SC, PWD, ST categories is 45%. Students still in the final year of their graduation programme can also apply.
IIM Shillong Admission Process:
(i.) Fill up the CAT 2020 form, choose IIM Shillong, opt for Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), and pay the exam fee.
(ii.) Clear the CAT-cut off and qualify the test for the selected programme.
(iii.) IIM Shillong will then shortlist candidates for the PI.
(iv.) After the formation of the final merit list, selected students will receive their admission offer.
(v) For enrolment, students must submit the specified documents.
(vi) The last step includes document verification.

IIM Shillong Admission in Post Graduate Program for Executives (PGPEx (MBEE)
Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Indian Institute of Management, Shillong offers a rigorous curriculum for practising managers and executives to become business leaders in the emerging economies. The one-year residential programme features participant oriented case methodologies and experiential learning.
IIM Shillong PGPEx (MBEE) Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Candidates will also need CAT (last 3 years) scores and Or GMAT (valid score from the previous three years). A minimum of five years of work experience is mandatory.
The institute may grant relaxations for applicants with a strong supervisory/managerial experience. The call to attend the Executive Assessment Center (EAC) depends on the overall application rating by the Admissions Committee.

IIM Shillong Admission Procedure for PGPEx:
Candidates must fill the online application form available on the IIM Shillong website.
Submit the filled application form.
Besides, applicants must pay the non-refundable and non-adjustable application fee before the deadline.
Candidates must also ensure that the application fee receipt is available in the applicant dashboard.
The institute considers CAT/GMAT scores, academic performance, and work experience for shortlisting the candidates.
The shortlisted candidates will then sit for a personal interview.
After the result is announced, applicants need to pay the acceptance and tuition fee.

IIM Shillong Admission in PhD
The four-year PhD programme includes two years of rigorous coursework. The first two years focus on developing managerial excellence skills in the candidates. The institute evaluates the participant through a comprehensive examination. After they qualify the test, the doctoral dissertation period begins.
IIM Shillong PhD Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a master’s or an equivalent in any discipline with at least 60 percent marks/equivalent CGPA (General category candidates and EWS). The requirement for SC/ST applicants is 55 percent aggregate marks/equivalent CGPA.
Students who have a CA, CS, or ICWA/CMA with B.Com /similar degree are also eligible to apply. Besides, applicants must have 60 percent aggregate marks/ equivalent CGPA in their secondary, higher secondary, and graduation exams. The requirement for SC/ST candidates is 50 percent aggregate marks/ equivalent CGPA.
IIM Shillong PhD Admission Process:
Fill and submit the application form online.
The entrants must also print copies of the application form and paste a recent photograph. After including the self-attested documents, and online receipt of the application fee, students must send it to the Doctoral Programme Office address available on the IIM-S website.
The scores of exams, as mentioned earlier, academic record, and professional experience are considered for shortlisting the candidates.
The selected candidates then go through an evaluation/ personal interview.
The successful applicants receive the admission offer.

IIM Shillong PhD (Working Professionals) Eligibility Criteria:
Master’s degree and a minimum of five years of work experience. Graduation degree with at least 55 percent aggregate marks.

IIM Shillong Admission in Master of Business Administration (Working Executive)
The MBA (WE) is a two-year flexi-hybrid programme tailored for working executives who want to fast-track their career prospects. The classes run on weekends at IIM Shillong’s Guwahati Center. However, participants can choose to attend live interactive sessions remotely.
IIM Shillong Admission for Master of Business Administration (Working Executive) Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent with at least 55 percent aggregate marks in any discipline.
(45 percent if the candidates belong to SC/ST/DA category).
