In order to be eligible for JEE Advanced you should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2017.

However, if ypour results for the academic year 2014-15 were declared after June 2015 are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2017 and you should have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
