Hello Monika

We live in a country where there is scarcity of jobs and water all round the year. Coming to our query, the best option for you at the moment is going for M.Tech. Since you are not elegible for many of the PSUs, so it becomes very difficult to get selected in the remaining (few) PSUs with a competition like this which is ever growing.

In private sector there are a lot of jobs available for an electrical engineer. The major problem that you will face their is they will ask you the reason for such a long gap. The answer to which they expect is a productive one in a way that how you have utilized that time to either add a degree to your educational qualification or learned some skills or have done an internship or a job. You can apply online as well through various websites made for the same.

Pursuing an M.tech from an institute of national recognition will not only add a degree nut will also boost your self esteem and confidance. Monika you need to understand that depressing over this will only worsen your state. Its time for you to decide and work upon an its absolutely alright and okay to take time.

Hope this helps.

All the best!

Hello Monika If you are not interested in your technical field then the options left are:1. Working with an MNC: If you are interested in IT then you can apply to the same though various websites available. To get recruited at an IT firm all you need is good Aptitude and Reasoning skills, exceptional communucations skills and proficiency in computers. You will be benefitted if you can learn a language as basic as C. You can learn the same online with youtube lectures.  Companies like Capgemeni, Infosys and Wipro give proper training after selection so not to worry much about that. 2. If you are interested in academic sector then you can join a school and pursue a career in that field. Any school will be happy to hire an engineer. 3. You change your stream and prepare for SSC and Banking exams. They also need exceptional aptitude skilles. 4. If you want to do something out of the box then you can join an NGO in your city and make a career in that stream. All i will suggest is pursue your interest. Student like you whose rank is among 1600 is surely not a dull one and it takes a lot ofcourage and patience to sail through this much.Hope this helps. All the best!
