Hello, even if you have got ranks in JEE Mains high enough to get you a seat in any NIT, IIITs , you won't get a seat even if you are from reserved category. The minimum percentage in boards for general category is 75% and for other reserved category is 65%. So please try out for private colleges like Sharda, Amity, Manipal etc.

Hey R KishoreKumar,

For admissions to NITs/IIITs, Candidates need to have secured a minimum of 75% marks in Class 12 or any equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12th Exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ST Candidates, the eligibiltiy criteria is to secure 65% marks in Class 12th.
