48 marks or not sufficient, you didn’t meet the 35% qualifying criteria, hence retake the exam to cross the cut-off and improve rank for seat allotment.
hi,
If you have scored 48 marks in TSRJC CET and your rank is around 12,288, honestly, getting a seat may be a little challenging because usually the competition is quite high, and seats get filled quickly in the top colleges. But still, there can be chances in some of the less preferred colleges or if the cutoffs go a bit lower this year. Sometimes, depending on your category, region, and the availability of seats, you might still get a chance in later rounds or through sliding options.
Dear student, With a score of 48 marks and a rank of 12,288 in TSRJC CET 2025 , your chances of getting a seat depend on a few key factors like your category , chosen stream (MPC, BPC, MEC), and the overall competition this year. While official cut-offs haven't been released yet , they’re expected by the last week of May on the official website (https://tgrjc.cgg.gov.in) .
In previous years, students with ranks up to 10,000–15,000 have sometimes secured seats, especially in the second round of counselling —more so if they belong to a reserved category. It’s not guaranteed, but you definitely have a chance.
So, make sure to wait for the official merit list , attend counselling , and keep your documents ready just in case you're shortlisted.
